Associate Regional Health Director
My name is Anika Chandwani and I am a sophomore at Fremont High School. Ever since I was little I have always been passionate about everything that I do and especially volunteering. Some of my interests include marching band, volunteering at my local Red Cross Chapter, tutoring young kids through YAPA kids, and track and field. Through my experiences and hobbies, I can stay engaged with many organizations to bring relief to people during this stressful time.
I joined the Student Response Initiative after I realized that I didn’t want to just sit at home and do nothing while there are people suffering. Through SRI I can do something about the pandemic and support my community through these tough times. As the associate regional director of the health sector, I assist with overall operations, leadership, and big decisions. I also coordinate with leaders and members to make sure all the jobs get carried out responsibly. I am currently helping oversee projects such as Feed the ER and Hand Sewn Masks. Through this responsibility, I can make a direct impact on the community by making sure everything runs smoothly.
Currently, SRI is working on several projects that have the potential to positively impact our community and grant support to groups affected by the pandemic. If you are able to spare any amount of money please consider donating to our initiative at bayreach.org/donate to support our cause.
To donate on behalf of a member, please include their name in the note section of the donation. Thank you!
